Welcome to Right at Home of St. Louis! Here you will find the information necessary to contact us when you need supportive care and assistance in the greater metropolitan St. Louis area. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve you and ensure your peace of mind.

As the owner of Right at Home of St. Louis, I am committed to delivering quality care and assistance to those we serve and, as a registered nurse, I have the education and experience to create those results. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing over 30 years ago and have had a variety of experience that has lead me to opening Right at Home of St. Louis.

Just before opening Right at Home of St. Louis, I was a long term care insurance agent for General Electric Financial Advisors. Every single one of my clients expressed their desire to stay at home in the event they needed long term care and made the decision to purchase insurance so that they would have the resources and support to accomplish that goal. Many of my clients were baby boomers and understood all too well, the impact that 78 million baby boomers would have on the delivery of long term care services in America in the coming years. It didn't take long for me to begin asking myself, "Who will deliver quality care to all these people?" I could see that we were not prepared for the future needs of millions of people who are enjoying long, healthy lives.

However, my greatest inspiration has come from my own family. My mother, Marie, cared for my dad, Charles, for many years when his Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's progressed to the point where he needed supportive assistance almost 'round the clock'. My mother was always there for dad, grateful that she was able to do so much for him. However, the constant care and attention my dad required took its toll on mother, and my sister and I worried about her constantly. We knew dad was receiving the best care on earth -— but what about mom? Had there been a Right at Home in their town, we could have gotten the kind of support and assistance mom needed to keep caring for dad without jeopardizing her own health. Caregiver, companion and homemaker services would have gone a long way in preventing the isolation that occurs when you are caring for a loved one and trying to "do it all".

I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the families of my community in such a profound way and consider it a privilege to be with and to help people at a time when they are reaching out for help. I pledge to have integrity with my word and actions and to deliver the highest quality of service at all times. I am absolutely committed that people have a choice about how their life goes — every day. This is what you can count on from me and Right at Home of St. Louis.
